Concert for Cyclone Victims of Bangladesh", a charity
show organized by the Bangladeshis living in
Human
Tragedy of Immense Proportion Unfolding : Bangladesh's
coastal area was devastated by a Category 4 cyclone in November, 2007 that
struck with winds of 150mph and left more than 3,000 dead, 900 missing, and
40,000 injured. Crops were damaged on more than 2 million acres of
land, more than 1.25 million livestock were killed. A human tragedy is
unfolding in one of the poorest nation of the world as more than 8 million

Multi-national
Event : In the spirit of "the world must come together..", we
are making this event a multi-national event where performers from different
countries, including children, will perform. We are
inviting selected dance academies and community groups in our area to
perform 10-15 minutes each for a total show time of 90 minutes. So far,
we have received confirmation from Bangladeshi, Indian, Iranian, Thai, and
US performers. We are expecting each group will rehearse
independently.
Dazzling
Show : We will coordinate with all the groups
and put together the final show. We have conducted shows in

the charity concert event for the victims of the cyclone. It is wonderful that
you are including multi-nationals for such a wonderful cause on January 26,
2008. NAFCA and its Family fully support your efforts and the work by AGAMI for
this much needed attention and donations which will help the Cyclone Victims of
Bangladesh.
Bijaya Shrestha has
brought to our attention the charity event and the invitation for our
participation in this good cause. This email is to confirm that on behalf of
NAFCA, we will be happy to join your noble cause and if slots are still open
for the concert, then we can provide you with two dance pieces which should not
