Another announcement that the Executive Committee would like to make is that

NAFCA's mission is to preserve and promote Nepali cultural heritage and foster mutual cooperation among Nepalis and friends of Nepal. NAFCA's Executive Committee has worked hard to stand on principal and to follow NAFCA's Mission and Bylaws ardently. At the same time we have sought to build a stronger community through positive interactions and outreach to the community at large. Today, NAFCA has grown both in numbers of attendees, events celebrated and activities. With the help of NAFCA’s website, we are able to tell many more about our small community of Davis, Sacramento, and Woodland areas and reach out to the community and public to promote Nepali cultural heritage. NAFCA's website gets anywhere from 150 to 1,000 visitors per day from over 30 different countries. NAFCA started as a small organization, which celebrated two main Nepali holidays. It has expanded to be so much more and can be so much more, which is only limited by your imagination.
If you are concerned about your community, if you are interested in preserving Nepali culture and teaching the community about Nepal and Nepali culture, if you are interested in helping others, then you should look to becoming a Member of NAFCA. NAFCA can be so much more and we urge everyone to welcome the New Executive Committee members and to help them to make NAFCA even better.
The Executive Committee Members (Gajendra Adhikari, Ajay Dev and Anup Srivastav) want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your vote of confidence by electing us during Dashain 2005 Celebration to serve for NAFCA. The three of us along with Manju Tuladhar and Sahadev K.C. want to take this opportunity to thank all of you. We have thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for the NAFCA Executive Committee and appreciate the opportunity. We have learned a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed our tenure on the Executive Committee, and we hope that you have enjoyed it as well.
Thank You,
Ajay Dev
