========Thank You Note to NAFCA Family============

Disaster like fire, flood, and hurricane may happen here and there and we used to watch and listen to these on TV and radio news frequently. We used to get shocked by watching and listening to such horrifying events. A lot of time, we used to show sympathy and talk to friends and family about such incidents. It never became real because it seemed like it only happened on TV.  However on December 7, 2006 we faced  our disaster as our house on 8552 Spring Azure Way, Elk Grove, CA 95624 was totally destroyed by a fire. By the grace of God, no one was hurt but destroyed everything we owned in the house including a parked family van. However, due to the strong support (moral, physical, mental and financial) from our Nepali friends and NAFCA community as a whole, we were able to get our lives slowly back to normal . Except Prem, who was at work at the time when the fire started, the rest of our family members  walked out  of the burning house in our PJs and barefoot.  In a matter of minutes, everything we had in the house was gone.  We immediately started realizing that we possessed no other clothes or shoes. Right then, some of you came forward and gave your clothes, shoes and other goods  for our immediate needs. Some of you provided shelters to us.  Some of your gave us gift cards, money, clothes and helped us in many other ways. Thank you so much for all of your support and generous gifts for us. We are very very grateful to you and we pray to the God that no body ever will have to go through such a disaster.
