We were happy to present a breather over this summer. A group of famous pop Nepali singers and musicians performed a musical benefit concert on Saturday, July 22, 2006 in Davis. Part of the proceeds that was raised was donated to 'Room to Read Foundation' (http://www.roomtoread.org/) on behalf of the Nepalese community in Davis, Sacramento, and Woodland.

The performing artists traveled this far from our motherland, Nepal, to entertain us, to take us back to our times in Nepal even though for a short period of time, and to support our noble effort of charity. NAFCA welcomed them together with enthusiasm and showed them our support. With all of your help, NAFCA was able to raise and donate $500.00 to a noble charity.
